Pay attention to ASUS EEE PC

Just recently, a friend tell me he has bought a ASUS EEE PC(4G), the dealer told him the eee pc can't upgrade memory when he order it. But now he see a post in a forum, someone said the eee pc can upgrade ems memory. The post said there is a end cap behind the eee pc in order to upgrade memory. But his eee pc do not have. He asks me is the dealer a duper.
So i ask him the detail about his laptop, no CCD Camera, memory is 512MB, battery with 4800mAh capacity, pink color. So i know his eee is Eee PC 4G surf.

The main difference between the Eee PC 4G and Eee PC 4G Surf is battery. The Eee PC 4G
battery is 5200mAh,Eee PC 4G Surf battery is 4400mAh. Because this, the pirce is different.
In fact,the replacement ASUS Eee PC battery is universal. If fits Asus Eee PC, Asus Eee PC
2G Surf (256 RAM), Asus Eee PC 4G (512 RAM), Asus Eee PC 4G Surf(512 RAM), Asus Eee PC 8G(1G
RAM). So i think there are no important effect.
I tell my friend do not worry, no important effect because my friend do not need upgrade memory. If you hope your Eee can upgrade memory, you must pay attention to it.
